More Like Fall

The weather has "turned back," just like the clocks ~ it's now much more seasonable! The alpacas don't care for the biting gnats that somehow survived the late October snowstorm, though. They're using their hind legs to scratch their itches (see photo of George below), and often sweep their heads through the hay to eliminate the pesky insects. That's Jake (black alpaca at left) rubbing his head in his food.
